When is a good time to add our baby to our health insurance plan?
Our new baby will be born in six more weeks, and we will add her to our existing medical insurance plan. When is the best time to do this, before her birth or after?

Add the baby to youyr plan within 30 days of her birth. Follow your OB's advice about setting up immunization and well-baby checkups. Make sure your plan will cover all those childhood immunizations.
