How are we doing in the struggle to reduce air pollution from auto exhaust?
What technologies are being explored to reduce greenhouse gases due to automobile emissions? Is there any one solution that seems to be promising?

The future of automobiles belongs to electricity and hydrogen. We are already seeing gas-electric hybrids offered from every major car company. Soon, hydrogen technology will have advanced far enough to make hydrogen-powered cars feasible. There is a microwave-sized device that cleanly extracts the hydrogen from water. Keep your eyes and ears open!
