In reality, college degrees are a dime a dozen. If you don't have the personality, wit, charm and even good looks necessary to procure an attractive position, for get about your degree. Unless you are a sheer genius, you're going to have to have something more in place to attract employers. Imagine yourself being an employer - and then imagine all of the people with college degrees applying for your positions. Competition is tough for good jobs these days. Put your game face on and just think of that degree as an extra. Likewise, many great positions would certainly be better suited for those who have a higher education, but do not require it. If you can dazzle an employer with what you represent internally and externally, that is very often more desirable than having a degree.
