What types of entry-level jobs for people with basic typing skills?
I took a typing class in high school and have had a few part-time jobs, but no real job experience. What types of entry-level jobs should I apply for, having had a few junior college courses and minimal experience?

You probably have unrecognized or undeveloped skills or talents which arise from school classes, hobbies or avocations which, when recognized and integrated into skill sets, may actually earn you a paying job. Small startup companies are looking for entry-level positions as typists, data entry, and receptionists. Familiarity with the Internet can help you land a job in a library as an assistant.
Numerous charitable organizations are looking for telephone solicitors. If it is your desire to work from home, consider starting your own typing service. You can put up a flyer at your school to type term papers and other work. The idea is to develop skills that you already have as you add new ones.
