Where is the safest place to go on holiday?
You hear about US tourists being viciously attacked and robbed when visiting Mexico, and how dangerous it is to visit the Mediterranean these days. Are there places that we can visit that we can feel at ease and not fear for our lives?

While this is difficult to determine absolutely, if crime is a primary indication of safety, then Japan has historically had one of the lowest crime rates in the world, if not THE lowest at any given time. For family fun and security, a favorite has always bee Hawaii. For vacationing in the Southern Caribbean, Aruba is one of the safest, crime-free areas in the world.
