What is a prenuptial agreement?
I am planning to wed in the near future and want to protect my monetary and property assets in the event that our marriage is terminated. What legal agreement can I make with my future spouse to assure that we will both be protected from the possible loss of our property?

A Prenuptial Agreement or Prenup is a legal contract between two people who are intending to get married. Though they can vary greatly, they generally list provisions for distribution of property, assets, and financial divisions between the two parties should a divorce take place.
