What is the sleep disorder known as OSA? It involves more than just snoring right?

OSA is Obstructive Sleep Apnea - it is a medical condition that is characterized by apneas (periods of non-breathing). They are caused by a complete closure of the airway due to the soft tissues in the rear of the mouth and throat collapsing. As the body struggles for air, heart rate and blood pressure rises, and the person often snores.
